    Default Truss Rod Cover Screws..

The screws in my KM-1000 are really soft I guess because the previous owner really rounded them out with a dull Phillips head. Where is the source for these things? Any advice really appreciated. Oh yeah, and any good source for a pearl trussrod cover?

Thanks and have a most decent weekend.

Stewart-MacDonald is a great source for instrument parts and hardware.

Our local Lowes has a great assortment of small brass and other screws appropriate for truss rod covers, etc. Way cheaper than StewMac. //mike

Be careful with StewMac's choice of TR cover screws. The small ones are too small IMHO. You need a #4 x 3/8" screw.
