British Banjo Building Effort on Kickstarter

I hope I don't get pilloried for this, but Bela Fleck just tweeted about a Kickstarter project aiming to build affordable banjos in England: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...=home_location

They're calling it the Shackleton Banjo, in honour of the Centenary of Shackelton's eventful trip to the South Pole. Even with the most severe weight restrictions, Shackleton rescued the banjo on board ship before it sank because, as he said "We must have that banjo! It is vital mental medicine."

Bonus: at the £45 level you can get mugs with "Vital Mental Medicine" on them!

I thought that some MandoCafe habitues might also be interested in the occasional banjo story.
